My friends were about to have their 20th wedding anniversary. The brides mother knew how much my friend likes my quilts and wanted to give them one for the big anniversary. I was excited as I was right away thinking about a Double Wedding Ring Quilt. As the mom and I were brainstorming and looking through patterns and fabrics she immediately said a firm "No" to a Double Wedding Ring Quilt. She wanted something more modern.
We agreed on a color scheme and rough concept but otherwise I could let my imagination run wild. I tricked the bride into choosing between fabrics and she pointed out the #meandyou fabric line by #hoffmanfabrics as her favorite. The colors are glowing in the quilt.
Of course there needed to be some rings in it so I quilted some into the negative space.
The happy couple loves it!
